One of Neil Perry’s Rockpool restaurants, it has amazing Chinese food, friendly professional service and a very cool atmosphere.
This little restaurant next to the Norfolk Hotel on Cleveland St looks like the kinda place your nana would hang out and play cards at. The food is absolutely amazing which fortunately more than makes up for incredibly laid back service.
This restaurant is a Sydney institution, it has been around for about 15 years, and is the place carnivores takes their visiting vegan friends because it is the one place they have heard of!
Harvest is an excellent “going out” restaurant when you want good food, good service and nice cutlery.
Green Palace is a laid back all vegan Thai buffet take away and al acarte restaurant in the heart of Newtown.
Becasse’s modern french menu is based on locally sourced seasonal produce which makes for fantastic vegan food – you will certainly find it hard to find a better tasting plate of vegetables anywhere.
Wagamama is quite likeable with it’s non-confrontational modern japanese food and the King St location in Darling Harbour has a balcony overlooking the water which makes it a little more classy.
This diner style restaurant serves up incongruously excellent food, so it wasn’t surprising to find out that it is run by the same people who ran then now closed and much more upmarket rQ on Crown St.
Vina is a Vietnamese restaurant that is entirely vegan and it has an extensive menu of really delicious food.
