Worlds Best Satay Tofu Burgers – Marrickville Markets

July 22nd, 2010

Definitely Australia’s best satay burger, well worth the half an hour line up if you are silly enough to want one at the 1pm rush hour (like I was last Sunday).

Funky Pies – Glenayr Ave, Bondi

June 27th, 2010

A whole shop of vegan food! Pies, sausage rolls, pastizi’s and yummy baked goods. We bought up big and everything was pretty darn tasty.

Iku is one of the foundations of the vegan food scene in Sydney, with four stores in the CBD and six stores elsewhere. The menu is all vegan and made from mostly organic locally sourced produce.

Melinzana Wood Fired Pizza – Enmore Rd, Enmore – CLOSED

May 2nd, 2010

I like this pizza joint for when I want Friday night cheezly loaded greasy pizza delivered to my house for about $15 a pizza, although if you want it hot you may want to go pick it up.

Janet’s Pies – King St, Newtown

April 22nd, 2010

Very very tasty pies. You really can’t go past the Thai broccoli pie, especially since you can pick one up at 2am on Saturday. The hot chips and gravy are also vegan and there is a killer apple pie for after.

Burger Fuel – King St, North Newtown

April 12th, 2010

The burgers at burger fuel are good, and even better both strict vegan and strict carnivore can eat out together without wondering what is in their food.
