One of Neil Perry's Rockpool restaurants, it has amazing Chinese food, friendly professional service and a very cool atmosphere.
We had a really great night out at Spice Temple, the food was hearty and spicy, the service was great and when we left I was thoroughly full which is a definite plus for fine dining in Sydney when you don't eat steak.
Vegan status: It's probably a good idea to let them know you are vegan when you book, however we didn't and there was a good range of dishes that the we were told either were vegan or could be made vegan.
Price range: Very reasonably priced, especially considering the generous portions, around $20 for entrees and deserts, $20 - $40 for mains.
Restaurant style: Rather dark but very trendy formal dining.
Recommendations: Everything we had was amazing; Salt and pepper silken tofu, Mushroom and vegetable hot pot and the Steamed eggplant with three flavours. Between four of us we had these three dishes and two other non-vegan dishes and it was a little bit too much food, but in a good way.
