Iku is one of the foundations of the vegan food scene in Sydney, with four stores in the CBD and six stores elsewhere. The menu is all vegan and made from mostly organic locally sourced produce.
They have everything from granola and porridge to lasagne and burgers with lots of sweet and savoury snacks in between. I have practically eaten everything they offer and there isn't anything I wouldn't eat again, even the more quirky salads. The only negative point is that the food although very healthy, can be rather high in calories; my favourite cocoa cardamon muffin is 700 calories!
Vegan status: All vegan (they used to market themselves as being vegan but now state that they are animal and dairy free and I can't find anything on their ingredients list as having egg or honey).
Price range: From $4 for snacks to $15 for meal deals.
Restaurant style: Takeaway
Recommendations: Rice ball, tofu pocket, lasagne, sago pudding and the marabba cookie.

Other locations: In the Sydney CBD: Martin Place (MLC Centre), Circular Quay (AMP Plaza) and Chifley Plaza, also in Glebe, Neutral Bay, Waverly, Darlinghurst, Rozelle and Bondi Beach.
