Waffles make a very tasty, but not so healthy breakfast. Serve with sliced strawberries, maple syrup and soy ice cream.

Makes four waffles.


  • 1 cup of plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup of soy milk


Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Whisk to remove all the lumps.

Make waffles!
