Making porridge in the microwave is convenient but it just isn’t as creamy as slow cooked porridge in the saucepan.
Makes two serves.
Add the rolled oats, soy milk, sugar and 1 cup of the water to a saucepan. Leave for 20 minutes.
Heat the saucepan to a medium heat, and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes stirring every so often to stop it sticking. When the porridge is thick gradually add the remaining water until it is all absorbed. Serve with your topping of choice.
